Our walk to school

We've been super fortunate to be staying with the Anou and her family.  Anou gave 'birth' to Project Why and continues to work very hard making sure that it continues.  Most days we travel with her, her daughter Shamika and grandson Agastya in two rickshaws (or autos as they are called here) and too keep grounded she visits the person who first inspired her to start Project Why.  We have chai and receive a blessing then Shamika, Alan and I walk the last bit to school.

Shamika letting Alan 'lead' the way to test if he can remember which twist and turns to make.
Learning can happen anywhere.  This class were so engrossed in their studies they didn't even look up when we started taking photos (VERY unusual reaction in India).

The classroom above from a little way down the road.  It's an awesome street with lots of action, chickens, dogs, kids, cooking, cleaning, chai and chats!
