For some reason our camera wiped a whole lot of our photos (including one of Alan being Princess Diana at the Taj...) but some which I thought were lost were saved! Hurray!
Exercise books are actually called 'copies' in India. This is due to
the fact that in government schools books are used for copying off the
board. Sometimes it can take a bit of encouragement to get the kids to
draw in their books and to convince them it's okay to write what they want and to make mistakes. I think I helped by leading by example here - check out all my spelling mistakes! This work was inspired by one of the all time best books EVER ...
